25 is a series of equipment released during the 25th anniversary of Shengya. This year is the 28th anniversary of Shengya. Why not 28?
Because this DAC decoder belongs to the 25th anniversary series, the appearance is also matched with the 25th anniversary, so the model is still named 25.

One of the biggest features of this DAC decoder is the dual output of gall and stone analog, you can choose which sound you like.

Shengya is based on the tube amplifier, so the gallbladder is not only a special product of Shengya, but also a feature of Shengya.

The basis of any equipment is the power supply. The low-noise, audio-specific transformer of the DAC 25 is comparable to a small combined machine.

There are a total of 5 tanks in the whole machine, and the other 3 are only responsible for the high-voltage rectification and voltage stabilization of the power supply. They are 6Z4 bladder rectification and 12AX7 voltage stabilization.

Listen to the DAC 25 with Ober's Water Drop 3.1CD turntable. This turntable is equipped with Philips' CD PRO 2 movement. Since there is no new movement supply, it has been discontinued.

I don’t have the same coaxial digital cable and balanced cable. I use the XLO coaxial digital cable and the music ribbon balanced digital cable.
Although they are two types of digital cables of different grades, after a hard comparison, I found that the effect of the balanced digital connection is more simulated and more emotional.

Then I compared the gall output and stone output of the DAC 25. The difference between gall output and stone output is about 75%, the difference is quite obvious.
The bile output is fuller and warmer, the stone output is clearer, the contrast is stronger, and the speed is a bit sharper.
Finally, my audition was conducted in a state of balanced digital connection and output.

The matching equipment includes Melody WE2688 preamp, Xindak 20th anniversary post, and ATC SCM 50 speakers.
The sound of DAC 25 playing CD is full of analog flavor, the sound is bright and full of vitality, the density is enough, the tone is open and not oppressive.
The positioning of the vocals and musical instruments is very clear, the lines are smooth, the sound field is good, and the musical taste is excellent.
After all, it is only a 5,000 yuan decoder, and there is still room for improvement in the low-frequency potential and texture of the shortcomings.

DAC 25 can be connected to CD turntables, CD players, computers and digital turntables, and then try it with a computer.

If DAC 25 is connected to an Apple system computer, no driver is required; if it is connected to a WINDOW system, a driver is required, and Shengya will provide it to users.
After installing the driver, open foobar, file-parameter options-output-device, and set it to this output.

You can directly play various types of music in foobar on your computer or notebook. The sound is the same as when you connect a CD turntable. The sound is very analogous, especially even though the notebook is connected, the sound is still very emotional, warm and long.

DAC 25 supports up to DSD 256, specifically tested DSD 256 files, no problem, smooth playback.
The DAC 25 gives me the feeling that there is no digital decoder, which shows that Shengya has worked hard to adjust the sound. Nearly 30 years of equipment design experience shines here.
The DAC 25 can also be connected to a digital dial. Since there is no suitable digital dial on hand, this function will be evaluated later.
