We were honoured to invite Eric, moderator of HIFI168, as the host of this concert.

At the start of the event, the host asked Ms. Chen Jia about her feelings towards the Mid-Autumn Festival. She shared that she once studied in Germany. After returning home, her nationwide touring schedule leaves her little time to stay with family. Therefore, the festival stirs a special longing for loved ones, echoing the sentiment of missing family on festive days.

Ms. Chen Jia also shared with the audiophile fans some memorable people and moments from her tour performances. Many fans presented flowers and gifts to her on site, bringing her heartfelt warmth.

We had a special segment that day: Tunnel of Time. Attendees were invited to write a letter or a note to their past selves. Ms. Chen Jia shared her own story of time, and selected three of the most touching entries to read aloud to the audience.

During the Timeless Melody Concert, Ms. Chen Jia performed Moonlight Serenade, Zhang San’s Song and May We Be Blessed with Longevity. Her gentle and melodious rendition captivated the audience.

It was not only our Mid-Autumn Timeless Melody Concert, but also the big day for the launch of Shengya’s 30th Anniversary commemorative power amplifier.

First, Chairman He Zhuojian took the stage to share his personal journey, letting the audience experience the joys and hardships in the early days of Shengya.

We also invited Chen Jia, the brand ambassador of Shengya, to join the unveiling ceremony for our new A-30 tube integrated amplifier.

Mr. He also explained the technical features of the A-30 on site. The A-30 is a tube integrated amplifier. Its highlight is that it eliminates the output transformer found in conventional tube amplifiers. Power semiconductor transistors are adopted in its place, eliminating various extra distortions introduced by traditional output transformers.

General Manager Mr. He Weilin also took the stage to share the story behind the A-30’s exterior design. The A-30 was designed by a professor who taught Mr. He during his studies at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. This German professor’s design portfolio covers automobiles, aircraft and more.

We paired the amplifier with ATC 7 bookshelf loudspeakers and B&W 802D2 loudspeakers for on-site listening sessions.

After the listening session, we received feedback and comments from distinguished audiophile veterans from Hong Kong, renowned recording engineer Mr. Leo Feng, Mr. Lai Yingzhi (Editor-in-Chief of New Audio), Mr. Wu Bin (host of Audio World on Music FM, Radio Guangdong and moderator of HIFI168), and Mr. Zhang Ge (Editor-in-Chief of Audio Frontier).

Mr. Jie from Likao Audio also shared his listening experience of pairing the A-30 with the ATC 7.

Happy moments always slip away quickly. Before we knew it, the two-hour-plus concert drew to a close. Ms. Chen Jia joined the audience in singing the classic The Moon Represents My Heart.

All fans took a group photo together with Ms. Chen Jia to mark this pleasant gathering.
